Thank you so much!! We really appreciate your regard! Returning to the question…Lacerater was born in 2002, but only in the last year we had the possibility to count on a settled line up. We are 5 totally abnormal guys ( don't divulge the information, we have the secret services hot on our heels yet ) who have chosen to express some of their deviant emotions through music, sharing them with other fools/ psychos/ hot heads/ misbelievers full of hope, hoops deviance, like us. Obviously, the emotions which infest "Nessun Urlo Nell'Ombra" are violent emotions!! You know, according to the most classical cliché, the Italians are passionate and impulsive! But we're not mafiosi, eh! Bullshits apart…Our music doesn't allow Lacerater to live on their name, so some of us are employed, other ones are studying …with the prospect to become unemployed, in this beautiful and cursed land named Italia. We're charged and full of ideas and I assure you our new songs are really more brutal and groove! 2) ARE YOU GUYS ON TOUR LATELY, I SAW A COUPLE OF SHOWS POSTED ON YOUR PAGES BUT NOT TOO MANY, IM SURE THAT WITH MORE PROMOTION A BAND LIKE YOURS WILL GET BIGGER & BIGGER? In Italy there aren't many places to play and the few ones aren't available for everyone… It's shameful that in a country like Italy, in which the Art blossomed, there aren't changes in the air, but at most amiantus! We should criticize so many things, but our aim is to construct, not to destroy, also because there are so many ruins yet. I agree with you, I think that if we would find someone who could support us in a really professional way, we could emerge and then…we could think only to DESTROOOOY! Anyway, we have many contacts in the teemed and fantastic Italian underground scene and so, with patience and determination the shows will turn up… We're working on it, but everything is top secret for the time being …Ahaha… 3) YOU GUYS SHOULD REALLY PUT OUT A MINI TOUR WITH SOME OTHER GREAT BANDS FROM YOUR COUNTRY & TOUR THE WHOLE COUNTRY & SHOW METAL FANS WHAT TRUE BRUTALITY IS? YEAH! We'll do it, you can be sure of it!! Playing with other bands, especially with famous bands, it's hard, you know...we don't have a label, but we're working to organize more shows as possible in the whole Italian peninsula. On this point we are organizing some robberies to finance ourselves... Personally, I'm involved in the abduction of rich grannies impregnated by a bandicoot we breed with love in our yard. Our aim is, after having squandered their riches on eBay, to slay them on stage and cook their fucked meat with "spaghetti and ragù". So, if u're hungry (and angry) come to our fuckin' shows!!! The bands you mentioned certainly belong to our musical background, with Cock and Ball Torture and Prostitute Desfigurement. Sometimes we're compared also with Kataklysm, well…what can I say?!...They're all great bands and it's an honour for us to be compared with them!! Up to now most of the numerous reviews we received (you can read them on: www.lacerater.com ) have welcomed our Ep with so much enthusiasm, underlining our originality and this is fuckin' delightful for us! In fact, we believe we have some peculiar features which certainly make us out of the way, as the lyrics written in Italian and the hardcore influences. The personal tastes of each member of the band are various, obviously only the tastes which can increase groove and brutality converge in Lacerater's music. Indeed one of our new songs (this is a confidence…) will have some parts banjo oriented. Nothing is more brutal than a banjo, no?! Also on the graphical-communicative front we're trying to propose original solutions, as the artwork of "Nessun Urlo Nell'Ombra", which juxtaposes carnivorous worms to a reassuring and pale pink. 7) YOU GUYS HAVE YOUR DEBUT E.P. CD "NESSUN URLO NELL'OMBRA" OUT NOW, TO ME IS A PUTRID, BLASPHEMOUS, INFERNAL MASTERPIECE, TELL US YOUR THOUGHTS TOWARDS THIS SICK ALBUM? It was exactly our aim! Certainly we didn't want to sound like the umpteenth anonymous European brutal band! We said to ourselves "We have to canalize all our strength to create something original". And for us, the support of so many people, including you, means having hit the mark! We're fuckin' satisfied with "Nessun Urlo Nell'Ombra"! Sure, this is only the beginning (!), in reality, with the present line-up, our potential has increased and the new songs are more putrid and blasphemous than "Nessun Urlo Nell'Ombra". They're on the ball. Our hope is to find a great fuckin' label which would support us completely.
