FYU DEATH MEATL Too bad that the entire length of the CD is under 13 minutes, because one thing is for sure, these Italians don’t lack energy. This mini features four very powerful, dynamic tracks. Despite the rather traditional blend of grindcore and brutal death metal, Lacerater manages to sound very fresh and convincing. In fact they sort of remind me of Deicide in their prime, which is more than decent by any standard. The lyrics are in Italian and I’m told by the included bio they deal with their native history.
