MARIO'S METAL MANIA Lacerater started in 2002. After releasing some demos (two) they decided to record this MCD and I must say…FUCK YEAH! This record is recorded and mixed in the FEAR studio (Handful of Hate, see MMM's reviews of February 2007). The production is fucking great and it sounds very brutal and old school. The guitar riffs are technical and very groovy (you should think ad Bolt Thrower). The drums are very straight in your face with a lot of technical moves in it. Then there is the vocalist who has a grunt that's pulled out of graveyard…very nice. The singing lines in the numbers are very chaotic (makes me think about Brutal Truth). If I read the letter that they send with the MCD, then it reverse to the lyrics that they have a very political meaning. Well I don't hear that because its in Italian but never the less, I think their CD fucking rules. If you like bands that sound like Bolt Thrower or Brutal Truth then you should check out their website and order it. By William Nijhof MARK: 80/100
